Jason Yip Residency

All of Jason’s events will be accessible and enjoyable. All levels are welcome, even those who don’t consider themselves to be dancers, but are interested in how dance is made. Participants will have the chance to join warmups, learn skills and see how professional dance is made.  

Jason and dancer Hsinyu ‘Pinky’ Wu will be developing and rehearsing a new piece called, “Beat Feet Seeks Peace Teases Creased Piece…Lone drone, Foam scone, Unknown syndrome zone”. This dance work explores how we play as children and the connection between home and happiness.

Have more fun than fear in this class for all levels. Under Jason’s caring guidance, you’ll mix play with dance. See what it’s like to move as part of a group and explore creative community in an easy way.
