Twin Flame, choreographed by Max McIlvenny
A Twin Flame is one soul that has been torn in two, creating two mirror images of yourself, not physically but spiritually. You know when you meet them as the connection is so strong and when you’re not with them you always have a gravitational pull back to them. Stripping back the themes of gender / sexuality/ ethnicity/ race it’s not about any of that it’s about the love that two entities can have for each other, 2 puzzle pieces that share one soul.

Dysmorphia, choreographed by Max McIlvenny
As teens going through changes in our bodies, it is natural for people to feel uncomfortable in their own skin and appearance, especially during this time. Body dysmorphia has been a massive obstacle I’ve had to over come and there are some aspects to this day that I'm still overcoming. This piece is representing the continuous, exhausting, unhealthy patterns and cycles people struggling with this gets themselves into and also looks at not only how we perceive ourselves but the fear of how others perceive us. If you have experienced any of these feelings, the first step is to reach out and talk about it.

The Me I Want To Be, by Out of the Can
The film is about Lex, a young adult in the early stages of exploring their identity as an LGBTQ+ person. Out of the Can is a place where young people can connect, and learn, and be themselves, and no one exemplifies this attitude better than Clarke, a confident older member who takes Lex under his wing. As Lex gets to know Clarke and the youth group, they start to grow and flourish. But when Clarke is faced with an uncertain future, Lex must reciprocate the courage and wisdom Clarke has taught them, and step up to support their friend in his time of need.

In 2016 Prime's Associate Director, Swindon-born Sarah Butcher ran 50 workshops with 500 of Swindon's young people. They talked about worries, loves, laughs and everything else in between - the result was 'Last Thursday'. The words in this production were spoken directly by Swindon teenagers.
